Process review

Why is the qualification of welding processes necessary?

In regulated areas such as DIN EN 1090 and DIN EN 15085, welding processes may only be used if they are qualified. This serves to ensure the quality of welding work and is a fundamental component of any welding quality management system. Qualification is carried out by means of a procedure qualification test.
